The LEGO DREAMZzz 71483 The Never Witch's Nightmare Creatures lets young dreamers meet the Never Witch's spooky creations and decide what she conjures next.

In the story, the Never Witch's raven steals one of Mateo's memories, which she uses in her cauldron of nightmares to create his evil doppelganger, MadTeo. Children build a raven, then rebuild it as a wolf or as DoomBlob, Z-Blob's dark double.

The cast of five minifigures includes the Never Witch, Mateo, MadTeo, Doey and Dogan, giving plenty of options for heroes-versus-villains play.

With 457 pieces and a 9+ age rating, it offers a good-sized build with three creature options to explore. It is a great introduction to DREAMZzz and an ideal birthday gift for children who like spooky stories with a playful twist. The DREAMZzz series follows a group of children who travel into the dream world to fight back against nightmares, and the sets are designed to be rebuilt, which encourages creative thinking. This one is especially good value for collectors, as MadTeo and Doey add variety to the line-up, and the Never Witch is the season's central villain.
